Terms of Service

These Terms set out the conditions for using YURURI (formerly KASANE; the “Service”). They apply to all customers who use the Service (each, a “User”).

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to all relationships between the User and the operator concerning use of the Service.

Article 2 (Content of the Service)

The Service takes the information entered by the User, combines multiple divinatory perspectives with AI analysis, and puts the User’s own tendencies and core patterns into words. It also provides features for putting the User’s own feelings and state into words and reflecting on them through dialogue and consultation with AI. The Service is intended for self-understanding and entertainment, and does not provide medical, legal, investment, psychological diagnostic, psychotherapeutic, or other professional advice.

Article 3 (Disclaimer regarding results)

The results presented by the Service are interpretations based on divination and AI, and their accuracy, predictive validity, and usefulness are not guaranteed. The operator is not liable for judgments or actions taken by the User based on the results of the Service, except in cases of the operator’s intent or gross negligence. Important decisions should be made on the User’s own responsibility, consulting a professional where necessary.

Article 4 (Conditions of use and age restriction)

A minor may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or other legal representative. Persons under 13 years of age may not use the Service.

Article 5 (AI-generated content)

The results of the Service are generated automatically by AI. The generated content may contain errors or inappropriate expressions, and the operator does not guarantee its content.

Article 6 (Fees and payment)

Fees for paid content and the methods of payment are as displayed on the Service. Payment is processed through the payment provider (Stripe).

Article 7 (Copyright and use of content)

Copyright and other rights in the text, design, and content generated by the Service belong to the operator or the rightful holder. The User may use their own results privately and share them personally on social media and the like, but beyond this may not carry out commercial use, redistribution, sale, or diversion to third-party services without permission.

Article 8 (Prohibited acts)

The User must not do any of the following. 1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals 2. Acts that obstruct the operation of the Service 3. Acts that infringe the rights of other Users or third parties 4. Acts of commercially using, redistributing, or selling content without permission in breach of the preceding article 5. Using the Service through unauthorized access or other improper means 6. Any other act the operator judges to be inappropriate

Article 9 (Change, suspension, and termination of the Service)

The operator may change the content of the Service, or suspend or terminate its provision, without prior notice to the User. The operator is not liable for damages arising to the User from this, except in cases of the operator’s intent or gross negligence.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

The operator is not liable for damages arising to the User in connection with the Service, except in cases of the operator’s intent or gross negligence.

Article 11 (Changes to these Terms)

The operator may change these Terms without notice to the User when it judges this necessary. The changed Terms take effect from the time they are displayed on the Service.

Article 12 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. If a dispute arises concerning the Service, the courts of Japan shall be the exclusive agreed court of first instance.
